David F. Anderson

Our father, Frederick Skrivseth Anderson, was a 1933 graduate of the School of Architecture at what was then called the North Dakota State Agricultural College. We, his children, have prominently and proudly displayed in our homes and offices several of his graded architectural renderings, pre-CAD of course, done by hand in colored pencil and often portraying ancient Greek structures like the Parthenon. They are beautiful works of art. Unexpected economic times, and the early death of our grandfather prevented our dad from pursuing his passion for creative design. His hope, I’m sure, would have been for this scholarship in some small way to help allow others, who meet the criteria set forth below, to obtain a degree in architecture from North Dakota State University, an institution near and dear to our father for as long as we can remember.
