Delores "Darcy" Ann Lipp

The scholarship was established in memory of Darcy by her husband Silas to commemorate her compassionate and accomplished nursing career of over 40 years. Darcy was born and raised in Linton, ND and she always dreamt to be a nurse like her older sister. Her dream came true when she was awarded a scholarship to go to St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Dickinson, ND. A program 12 months long and she graduated in 1971 and went to work a month later. This scholarship was created not only to honor Darcy but to encourage and assist nursing students to achieve their new careers. To be a good nurse is to give of yourself and you will ultimately be rewarded.
