Jonelle and Birch Burdick

Jo and Birch Burdick are proud to support the academic achievement of students
in the NDSU College of Health Professions – School of Nursing.

Jo, a nursing graduate, appreciated the opportunity NDSU offered through a high
quality, accredited nursing program, and a welcoming academic community, in
her hometown. Jo credits her education at NDSU as the catalyst for a long and
rewarding career of nursing practice in North Dakota and beyond. Jo was an
active member of the Student Nurse Association and a member of the Women’s
Varsity Tennis Team while pursuing her degree at NDSU.

Jo hopes the recipient of this scholarship enjoys their nursing career and their
time at NDSU as much as she did and remains connected and supportive of NDSU
long after graduation.
