Kent L. Sack

The Rainbow symbolizes pride, hope, trust, loyalty, love, and equality; the basics
of an academic campus that encourages students to stretch and grow to achieve
their personal best. The Rainbow Futures Fund will provide financial assistance to
NDSU freshman who:
Are LGBTQ+, non-binary, or gender-fluid,
Are Native American and identify with Two-Spirit traditions,
Are Lesser-Abled students, including students with hearing, vision, speaking,
movement, neurological, mental, emotional disorders, long Covid, limiting
auto-immune diseases, or other conditions or diseases to be defined by science
which require special educational accommodations for their success.

The goal of this scholarship is to help offset societal stigmas and actions that may
disrupt educational pursuits and the realization of a successful lifetime for these
students.
