Loren W. Hill Scholarship

The Loren W. Hill Scholarship was established in his honor by Loren’s close friend, James Meier and Loren’s spouse, Norma. Loren studied chemistry at NDSU (BS 1961) and at Pennsylvania State University (PhD 1965). Loren returned to NDSU to serve on the faculty of the Chemistry and Polymers and Coatings Departments. Later, he enjoyed a successful career as a Senior Science Fellow performing research for Monsanto and Solutia in Springfield, Massachusetts. Loren was proud of his North Dakota heritage and his association with NDSU.
