Paul Berg

Dr. Paul Berg (PB) represents an extraordinary and lasting contribution to the
livestock and meat industry through his teaching, extension, research, and
service. He has influenced multiple generations of agriculturalists as a 50+-year
faculty member in the Animal Science Department at North Dakota State
University. The PB Scholarship Endowment was established provide support for
the continuation of the judging program at NDSU and as a living legacy to the
profound impact he had on thousands of students that attended NDSU and
thousands more that participated in intercollegiate meat judging and meat
animal evaluation across the United States.
