Phyllis and Robert Anderson

Robert (Bob) graduated from NDSU with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1969. Following graduation, Bob took a job with the Minnesota Highway Department. Bob and Phyllis returned to Fargo in 1976 where he became Vice-President of Olaf Anderson Construction Company, a company started by his grandfather in 1913. Bob became President in 1996 and served in that position until he retired in 2006. Bob continued to work part-time with the company until he passed away in October 2009. During his time at Olaf Anderson Construction Company, Bob hired many graduates from NDSU’s construction management group. Phyllis graduated from NDSU with a degree in Mathematics in 1967.
