Sara and Gregory Wald Business Scholarship

Sara and Gregory Wald created this scholarship to support first generation college students studying business. With both of them being first generation college graduates, they understand the power of education and encouraging others to finish their college degrees. Sara is a 2001 NDSU Business graduate and continues to work at NDSU. Gregory graduated from Concordia College in 1993 with degrees in Business Administration and History/Political Science. He then earned his MBA from the University of North Dakota. They have two children, Kathryn and Andrew. Throughout their lives, Sara and Gregory have volunteered for professional and civic organizations and seek to raise up others. They hope receiving this scholarship motivates the recipient to give back to others, whether in service or philanthropy.
