Thomas Howard and Shannon Killilea

T. Howard and Shannon Killilea are alumni of North Dakota State University.
Howard earned his B.S. in Chemistry and M.S. in Coatings and Polymeric
Materials and Shannon received her B.S. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering. They
are both advocates of graduate work beyond a bachelor’s degree and want to
encourage more women to enter the STEM field. Howard is a longtime member
of the Department of Coatings and Polymeric Materials’ Industrial Advisory
Board. In this role, he was an early proponent of developing an accelerated
master’s program. In an effort to help establish the accelerated master’s
Program, Shannon and Howard wish to support students pursuing a graduate
degree in Coatings and Polymeric Materials.
