Tim and Claudette Peterson

Both Claudette and I know the sacrifice that you have made or will make by serving in the United States Armed Forces to protect our freedoms. Claudette was the daughter of an Air Force Chief Warrant Officer and my life partner when I was enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and later when I was commissioned as an officer. If it were not for the Air Force, I would not have earned a bachelor’s degree, a master’s, and a doctoral degree. Both Claudette and I know the challenge of going to school, raising a family, and holding down a full-time job. We are grateful for support we received while pursuing our education and for the life it has afforded us. We want to give back to someone who is also pursuing an education and who has served or will serve this country.
