Verle and Sandra "Sanderson" Peterson 4-H Youth Development Scholarship

Verle and Sandra Peterson have created a scholarship endowment to assist students with a 4-H background in furthering their education in child and teenage development or Family Science. For over 100 years, 4-H has provided opportunities for young people to learn by doing – helping to prepare the next generation of leaders who give back to their communities and help them flourish. 4-H’s pledge to think clearly, act loyally, serve graciously, and contribute positively to communities is just what the world needs more of today. With changing family structures and dynamics, supporting students in learning skills to build strong families and children will hopefully make better futures for all. Verle and Sandra are happy to support students who embody the 4-H values in their pursuit of higher education at North Dakota State University.
