Creative architectural design work is elevated by an understanding of the construction systems involved. Similarly, construction requires the technical understanding of building systems in turn is elevated when architectural design goals are realized in the built form. The interdependence of design and construction is best promoted by individuals that communicate and advocate for integrating design and construction.
