Northwood Deaconess Health Center Health Professions Scholarship

The scholarship application is open Jan. 15th- March 31st and notice of award will be given in May. Scholarship awards will be paid to the institution in the recipient’s name and applied to the student’s following semester (may be for Summer or Fall semester) Scholarships will range between $500-$1,000 depending on number of applicants. For scholarship eligibility, student applicants must meet the following criteria:

• ​Must be accepted or enrolled in a health profession program at a college or university (preference given to those attending a college or university with local proximity)
• Must be in good academic standing, with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher
• Must be a North Dakota resident
• Must demonstrate an interest in working in rural healthcare
• If applying for a nursing scholarship, preference will be given to students currently working as a CNA
