Grace E. Bayliss Gold Memorial Scholarship - Freshmen

One scholarship of $1000 is awarded in recognition of the scholastic ability, leadership, and professional promise of an incoming freshman enrolled in the College of Human Sciences and Education. Candidates must major in Apparel, Retail Merchandising and Design, Interior Design, Hospitality, and Event Management, Human Development and Family Science, Dietetics, or Family and Consumer Sciences Education. Applicants must have a minimum composite score on a Student Profile Report of 21 ACT or 970 SAT. Recipients must be taking a minimum of 12 graded credits at the time of award disbursement. This scholarship is able to be renewed each year as long as the recipient maintains the following criteria: 1) A minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average (PGA), 2) a minimum of 3.0-semester grade point average (SGPA), 3) A minimum of 12 credits per semester, and 4) actively seeking an undergraduate degree in the College of Human Sciences and Education at NDSU.
