Excellence in Nursing Education

The Excellence in Nursing Education Scholarship was created to ensure that all aspiring nurses can pursue their dreams. This award was inspired by the nurses at Sanford Bismarck, whose care and compassion made all the difference during Sarah’s fight against leukemia. Believing that nurses are the heart of health care, Sarah hopes to help reduce financial barriers so that a nursing education and career are open to all who are called to care. This scholarship is awarded to any student in need of financial assistance who maintains satisfactory progress and demonstrates a commitment to nursing.
