RADM (Ret) and Mrs. Fred Paavola Make a Difference Scholarship

Upon retirement in 2000 as Chief Pharmacist Officer and Assistant Surgeon General for the U.S. Public Health Service, the Make a Difference Scholarship was established in honor of Fred Paavola. It is awarded to a P3 or P4 pharmacy student who has shown the ability to “Make a Difference” in the pharmacy profession with a preference given to a student from MT or ND.
