Hinsz Science and Mathematics Education Scholarships

This will fund a Duane E. Hinsz Scholarship in Mathematics Education and a Harvey L. Hinsz Science Education Scholarship. The scholarships will be awarded to two undergraduate students (one who is enrolled in Mathematics education and one scholarship to a student enrolled in a natural or life science education discipline) who are enrolled at NDSU at the time of disbursement. Students must have a professional intent to pursue a grade 7-12 teaching career in North Dakota and select a North Dakota school district in which they will be student teaching (scholarship is awarded during the academic year in which student teaching will take place) and demonstrates financial need.
