Dr. Karl G. and Maria K. Maurer Mechanical Engineering Scholarship Endowment

Students must be enrolled as a full-time junior of senior at NDSU at the time of disbursement and be a citizen or permanent resident of the United State. Students must be pursuing a major with the department of Mechanical Engineering, have a cumulative GPA of 2.9 or higher, and have graduated from a high school in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, or Wisconsin. Students must also be active at least one semester and maintains activity as a performer or a student within the NDSU Division of Performing Arts at time of disbursement or be a student who participated in performing arts for at least two semesters prior to disbursement. First preference is to a student involved in music; the second preference is to a student involved in theater. Transfer students are also eligible for the scholarship if they were involved in performing arts for at least two semesters at their former college/university prior to transferring.
