Sheila and Robert Challey Institute Scholarship - Freshmen

The Sheila and Robert Challey Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship that requires the student to pursue the 9-credit Certificate of Private Enterprise. This certificate equips students with an understanding of human progress and its foundations, an understanding of capitalism and socialism and their implications, an understanding of the important role played by entrepreneurs in society, and tools to engage in meaningful conversations with people who have varying views. The award is renewable for a second year, conditional on the student continuously taking classes that count toward the Certificate in Private Enterprise.

To qualify for the scholarship, the student must:
• declare the Certificate in Private Enterprise at the beginning of their first semester
• register for BUSN 491 in their first semester
